Kathy Pryce

Freelance Offline Editor

Kathy Pryce

I began my editing career in Bristol as an assistant editor on 16mm film in 1997 and have been a freelance offline editor for 8 years, proficient with Avid and Final Cut Pro. I enjoy working across a wide range of genres and am passionate about telling an interesting story. I am always keen to explore new ideas as the creativity of editing keeps me motivated. My work as an editor has included broadcast programmes (daytime and primetime), pop promos, corporate videos, charity videos and tasters, across diverse genres including natural history, archive, observational documentary and formatted programmes.  I work well under pressure both individually and with producers and directors and consistently meet tight deadlines.  My work has primarily been based in Bristol, although I also have experience working on projects in South Africa and Botswana.
