I was trained as an Editor at the BBC, and after completing my training I worked in most of the BBC departments: Drama, Documentaries, Music & Arts, and Current Affairs.
I will bring to your production, not only my editing skills – but also intelligence and good creative and artistic ideas. I am a good communicator, with a love of my craft that has enabled me to work on a wide range of programmes. I have a good sense of humour, the ability to work well within a team and become a collaborator. This has been an important factor in my returning to work regularly with production teams and Directors.
My early experience as a dubbing and music editor has given me a flair for choosing and using music in different ways. I can bring a wealth of experience to your production, whether it is a Drama or Documentary, and use it to your advantage.
Other attributes and experience I can bring to a production include:
1) Editing in 16mm, 35mm, Video, and Non-Linear formats
2) Post-Production Supervising – Editing; Titles; Graphics; Opticals; Neg-Cutting, Video On-Line; Film to Video Transfers.
3) Selecting field and composed music
4) Extensive Archival research (both Film & Photographic)
