Jamie has been a freelance Lighting Cameraman/DOP for many years, having graduated from Bournemouth Film School and ascended through the ranks gaining a wealth of experience and solid technical knowledge. He is equally at home shooting on any format and on all genres; good with people, creative and reliable. Directors enjoy working with him and editors love him. He has a particular ability to be innovative and is a green screen lighting expert. Jamie has worked on a substantial number of documentaries for example, Virus(BBC), 50 Deadliest(Nat Geo), Rory & Will Champions of the World (Channel5), Dr Who Confidential(BBC), Behind the Music Ozzy & Behind the Music Kylie (VH1), The Making of Ironclad and many international film productions such as, Wall of Tyranny(Colombia Pictures), Return to Treasure Island(Disney), Old Scores(South Pacific Pictures). He was lighting cameraman on the Oscar Nominated Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, the cult animated feature film, the first of its kind to be shot on 35mm digital stills. Experienced with motion control, Steadicam, most camera mounts, dollies and cranes; and has shot in and from helicopters, hot air balloons, planes, boats, trains, etc, with small and large crews and all over the world.
