SOUND EDITOR & FOLEY ARTIST

A warm and creative Dubbing Editor and Foley Artist, Richard specialises in natural history, drama, factual and animation.

Richard has recently performed Foley for BBCs drama series Prime Suspect 1973, TV Movie Maigret:Night at the Crossroads and award winning short film I Should Have Run.

Richard provided Foley for the BBC’s landmark series FROZEN PLANET which garnered nominations for Conch Panda and Emmy Awards as well as a BAFTA win for Sound. He also performed the Foley for Africa, Life and the Emmy-nominated Nature’s Great Events, as well as the critically acclaimed dramas Five Daughters, Best of Men and Mistresses.

Richard’s passion and experience in sound design and Foley enable him to bring an innovative and imaginative perspective to his work as a Dubbing Editor.

Richard’s interests include smashing, splashing and bashing, filling balloons with custard and generally getting mucky to find new and inventive ways to make things sound real, fun and amazing.
