Steadicam Operator/Owner – Underwater Camera Specialist – Rope Access Specialist
Rob is a DP/Camera Operator that is used to working in all kinds of situations, from a large drama based crew to a small documentary crew to even self shooting/directing on his own.
Working on science documentaries, natural history, television drama, feature films, commercials, corporates and promos. He has worked for BBC, National Geographic, History Channel, Discovery, Channel 4 and Channel 5 and numerous independents, in varying extreme locations around the world from jungles to deserts, as happy underwater, in a hide or in the canopy.
Rob is a DP based both in the West country and London. As used to working on 16 and 35mm as he is used to shooting digitally using HD and solid state technology. He has a wealth of experience working with all broadcast formats from High Definition, film, live OB, infra red work and is equally happy working as a self shooting director or as part of a team.
Rob also brings a numerous amount of specialist skills to the table;
Underwater Specialist with over 20 years diving experience;
HSE Part 4 Diver
Steadicam Operator trained at Optical Support with 8 years solid experience.
IRATA – climber to high level.
Current ‘I’ Visa passports x2 up to date
He holds all the relevant documentation required, up to date medicals, PADI rescue Diver and all current inoculations.
Rob will always offer more to a production in terms of time, shots, experience and enjoys making it all work.
