Films at 59 Covid-19 Operational Update April 2021
We know it continues to be a strange year and as we head toward the hopeful government easing from 12th April, we aim to remain “business as COVID usual”.
We will follow government guidelines for a covid-safe environment and will continue to live the “hands, face, space” mantra.
Films at 59 are proud to continue to offer our full range of services and at every level we remain dedicated to providing you with a safe environment
to fulfill your creative ambition and deliver your projects.
We have all had to adapt our approach over the past year and we will do our best to keep adapting and appreciate your continued feedback.
To help with “RI numbers”, some staff will continue to work from home to over the coming weeks/months in order to reduce virus risk as the country starts opening up.
We are following the UK Screen/Pact regulations (below) which have recommended strict rules as a result of the new strains. We are also participating in the government testing scheme so all staff coming into the office complete a 30-min covid test and we forward the details to the government.
To protect clients and staff, attendance sessions are still being carefully managed and restricted.
We offer remote viewings and any in-person attendance sessions follow 2m distancing and mask wearing to keep the “R” number down.
We appreciate that the commitment to our community and our industry is evidenced by staff and clients all taking responsibility to ensure safe working practices and following COVID secure workplace rules. And we appreciate everyone recognising that this policy needs to be a condition of admittance to the facility to keep everyone safe and is being updated in line with government policy.
We want to reiterate that your health & welfare is key and in this most unusual time, we are doing all we can to keep everyone safe whilst adapting and delivering.
Please always feel free to contact us with any queries and “stay safe and keep vigilant”!
