Brian Moseley
SOUND MIXER & FOLEY ARTIST
Not long after joining Films in 1999 from a theatre background, Brian was a finalist in the Broadcast Young Talent awards as Best Mixer 2004.
He is skilled at mixing in many genres and formats including Dolby Atmos and other multi-surround formats and is well-known for his speed and attention to detail. He is also an experienced foley artist.
In 2008, Brian mixed Aardman’s BAFTA-winning Best Short Film The Pearce Sisters. He was part of the mixing team for the BAFTA Children’s Awards-nominated series Chop Socky Chooks (Aardman Animations) and the BBC One Drama Five Daughters, which went on to win Best Episode of a TV Fiction Series or Serial 2010 at Prix Europa, and Best UK Feature at The Raindance Festival.
Brian has mixed many high profile programmes and features, including the Bristol-produced horror film Dark Vision, which was nominated for Best Sound in the 2014 RTS Awards and the Endless Winter surfing films.
Outside of the dubbing theatre, he is a drummer, climber and likes to 3D print and programme unusual LED contraptions.
