Johnny Rogers


An experienced, creative Documentary and Natural History cameraman with a sense of fun and team spirit, Johnny works across the range; From Natural History to live multi camera OB’s, to intimate ob-docs.

Johnny has the ability to work quickly and professionally on location; he can look after himself and others while remaining flexible within the team. Having traveled extensively Johnny appreciates the need to be prepared for anything, he is MIRA qualified (Medic in Remote Areas) to better equip him for working in the far corners of the world. Filming under time and budget pressures Johnny will always keep standards high and find the best shots and cover the action.

Experienced in HD, Digi Beta, Live Outside Broadcasts, Steadicam, Infra Red and mini cams, Jo and macro, Johnny has acquired experience in a wide range of camera formats. He is well traveled having worked in the harshest of environments, including; Jungle, Deserts, the Open Ocean and the Arctic.

Johnny is an IRATA qualified rope access technician, has a HSE Part 4 Commercial Scuba certificate for underwater filming and an American I Visa in his Irish Passport.  Recently completed the BBC Hostile Environment Training.
