Jonathon Cawte

Jon’s ever-growing interest in sound for film and television began whilst studying for a degree in Sound Technology. He began working at Films at 59 in 2011 and joined the dubbing department shortly after as the Audio Logistics Coordinator before moving onto tracklay, Foley and voice recording and becoming a Foley artist.

Jon is the latest addition to the Films at 59 dubbing team and within the past 12 months has had the opportunity to work on natural history, documentary, animation, daytime and drama projects for a variety of broadcasters.

Jon is a very collaborative and communicative person and thrives on meeting new clients and building ties with his existing clients. He’s a keen Foley artist, excited about using all the props in our dedicated Foley space in Brockley village. His credits include: McDonald and Dodds (crime drama), The Love Monster (animation) and Expedition: with Steve Backshall (documentary).
