Richard Lambert

SOUND MIXER

Richard joined Films as a Dubbing Mixer in 2007, following four years of mixing at Granada Bristol and nineteen years at M2 and Molinaire in London, where he was mixer of choice for award-winning drama director Peter Webber.  Although Richard is equally happy to mix 5.1 or stereo on any of our desks/workstations, he came to Films as a Protools specialist.

Richard thrives on a diverse range of work.  He has been the lead mixer for Off The Fence’s last two series of Monkey Thieves, and worked on Aardman’s Shaun the Sheep and Timmy.  He has collaborated repeatedly with acclaimed documentary film-maker Jane Treays (on programmes such as Virgin Daughters and Mum, Heroin & Me).  Richard mixed Charles Darwin & The Tree of Life, which won ‘Best Presenter-Led Programme at Jackson Hole 2009 and ‘Best Science Documentary’ at The Grierson Awards.

Richard won the Dolby Sound Award for his work on Icon Films The Flood at the Wildscreen festival Panda awards 2020 .
