Roy Noy joined Films at 59’s dubbing department in 2007 and quickly established himself as an exceptional sound editor and highly valued member of the team. With his attention to detail and a passion for immersive soundscapes, Roy’s contributions have elevated the quality of numerous projects.

His expertise extends across a wide range of genres, including natural history, documentary, and drama. His proficiency in sound editing and design shows through in each project he undertakes, as he adapts his skills to suit the unique requirements of different storytelling styles.

In 2020 Roy won a WildScreen Festival Panda Award in the Best Sound category for his work on ‘The Flood’ produced by Icon Films.

Roy was a RTS Awards nominee in 2012, 2015 and 2022 for his work on the BBC’s feature length drama ‘Best Of Men’, BBC’s Natural World ‘Honey Badgers: Masters of Mayhem’ and Apple Productions “The Year Earth Changed “
