Experiences to date have ranged from the non-linear storyline of BBC Earth’s ‘Bear Island’ to Play Nicely’s mixed reality ‘Elephants Can Remember’, in which the virtual presence of Agatha Christie shares your room you occupy to lead you through the first chapter of one of her stories.
The audio team at Films at 59 are already ahead of the curve when it comes to creating compelling spatial audio thanks to years of experience delivering for bespoke surround installations.
We apply our award winning audio post production to immersive media in the form of ambisonic mixes or interactive soundscapes within a game engine like Unity.
For 360 video projects, the spatial audio mix can be reviewed in a Rift headset right from the dubbing theatre.
Projects for which we have supplied spatial audio include BBC Earth’s gamified natural history experience ‘Oogie’, a virtual safari by Biome Productions and the 36-channel mixes for the Sega Orbi theatres worldwide.
